ANNOUNCEMENT TO BE READ AT ALL SERVICES IN
THE PARISH OF PETERBOROUGH, ALL SAINTS
ON SUNDAY 31 OCTOBER 2021
We are delighted to announce that, following interview and with the agreement of the representatives of the parish, Bishop Donald has invited The Revd John Noddings to become Vicar of All Saints, Peterborough. John Noddings has accepted this post, and subject to the normal Church of England legal and administrative procedures, he will be collated and inducted on Sunday 16 January 2022 at 3pm.
John is currently Assistant Curate of Corringham and Fobbing in the Diocese of Chelmsford, having previously served as a deacon in the Roman Catholic Church and having taught Theology, Philosophy, Ethics, Classics and English in secondary schools.
He is engaged to be married in July of next year to Keri Morrow, at present Assistant Curate of St Mary’s in Peterborough, where her training incumbent is Michael Moore, the Rural Dean.
John is thrilled to be coming to All Saints Parish and looks forward to getting to know you and working with you.
Bishop Donald and Archdeacon Gordon are very grateful to all who helped with the preparation of the profile for this post, all the arrangements for the interview day and for all who have been sustaining the life of these parishes. We ask for your prayers for John as he prepares for his move to Peterborough.
The Venerable Gordon Steele Archdeacon of Oakham
